One day I woke up and realized I'm not a baby nurse anymore. I'm not even a young nurse. I'm a real adult who has now been doing this for years, and I'm definitely expected to know what I'm doing at all times. And that's fucking terrifying.

I got a pair of crocs and I like them pretty well. I wore then for 2 12 hour shifts now and I am feeling pretty good with them. Although I found that during the summer I had to change shoes every other day or so to keep my feet happy.
i have found that i heart Clarks (particularly the Privo line they carry) I also realize that only fellow nurse friends should comment on the shoe thing since i have never pulled a 12 hour shift and really my opinion should have no bearing on your decision. but there ya go.
Brooks running shoes. They're super. I've tried lesser running shoes and wound up with aching feet; walking shoes and wound up with aching feet; danskos and wound up with aching and stinky feet (no ventilation). My Brooks sneakers are by far the best shoes I've lived in for 12 hour shifts.
thanks! I'll try out the suggestions!
Dankso's are really awaesome. go to a store that has them and try them on. You actually need them to feel a little big. then order them online at danskooutlet.com they are way cheaper that way
I used to wear Nike shoes.!! Those provide best comfort to my feet.
