So you're telling me there's a chance

Yes, it's moderately flattering to have you, my 25 year old male patient, ask me out for a beer right after I'm done giving you your discharge papers. Even though the odds of me saying yes are slightly worse than the 3720:1 of navigating an asteroid field, you've still got a small chance.

That small chance, however, immediately goes to zero if you ask me out for a beer in between massive dry heaves since you're in the ER after nearly killing yourself in a drunken stupid decision.

So what you are saying is that I have a chance? That scene is so funny because that is sooooo what a guy hears when a woman is trying to let him down easy.

Not sure about asking a woman out after her seeing me behave in a stupid fashion. I sorta like to ask women out moments after they see me doing an impressive thing. - For example maybe the drunk dude came across my path and because I was being nice I carried him 5 miles to get him to the hospital to save his life - on the way out maybe throw a wink at the nurse and see if she keeps the eye contact
